So what is Project 2022/10/07??

Following the announcement in the Media on Monday – 3rd October 2022 – that The Civic Hall in Bedworth would be closing permanently, we have today started to receive approaches asking if we would consider helping in exploratory conversations/discussions with a view to putting forward a bid.

After some research and conversations, it has been decided that Building Future Communities will lead a self-funded project to research the viability of whether there is an opportunity to re-open and successful operate The Civic Hall as either a Community Asset or mix of Business and Community Asset.

It has been announced that next week, at the Council Meeting scheduled for the 19th of October 2022, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will announce further details as to what is happening around The Civic Hall.

Dependant on this announcement and the disclosures, Building Future Communities will announce whether it will be continuing with this project.

It has been announced following the recent Council Meeting on the 19th of October 2022, Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council will announce the timeframe/procedures for the Expressions of Interest with supporting documentation and that this process will start on the 10th of November 2022.

Dependant on this announcement and the disclosures on the 10th of November 2022, Building Future Communities will announce whether it will be continuing with this project.

Following the disclosure of information from Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council yesterday -10th November 2022 – Building Future Communities will today be submitting an Expression of Interest with a view to leading a bid to save/takeover Bedworth Civic Hall.

Thus, as a result of this, whilst this project will remain known as Project 2022/10/07 for all legal and commercial paperwork – for ease of publicity and referral discussions, this project will use an abbreviated term of BCH23 or #BCH23

Building Future Communities will today and over the next few days, be releasing, latest and up to date news on Project 2022/10/07 (now know as #BCH23) in connection to attempting to save Bedworth Civic Hall.

Thus, as a result of this, whilst this project will remain known as Project 2022/10/07 for all legal and commercial paperwork – for ease of publicity and referral discussions, this project will use an abbreviated term of BCH23 or #BCH23 has secured assistance, backing and support from various individuals, businesses and groups who will be named Publically if we are successful in making it through Round 2 of this process.
